Sementara: Singapore film premiering at the SF Documentary Festival now till June 20

Sharing a Singapore-made film premiering now in SF.

A documentary film that had its World Premiere at SGIFF 2020 and won the Audience Choice Award. Before the recent COVID-19 lockdowns, it was playing in theaters to great reviews.
Filmed during Singapore's 50th anniversary, Sementara (“transient”) encapsulates the philosophies, daydreams, and crucial moments strangers share—which all lead back to certain universal truths.
Sementara (“transient”) delves into the philosophies, daydreams, and crucial moments of strangers—all from different backgrounds, morals, and perspectives—throughout Singapore during its 50th anniversary. 
Using the themes captured through intimate interviews, the film follows threads that lead back to certain universal truths—whether that’s trying to make ends meet, having or lacking an identity, believing or not believing in gods, gender and sexuality, love, sadness, and death.

Now, it will have its International Premiere at the San Francisco Documentary Festival ( It will be playing until June 20th!
